Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic Healthcare IT development team. This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality of our healthcare products and solutions, with a strong focus on interoperability standards, government contracting requirements, and secure, user-centered product development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of process-oriented Agile methodologies, human-centered design (HCD), USDS Playbook, principles, and a commitment to value-driven best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or related roles within the healthcare IT sector.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7 FHIR, Da Vinci Implementation Guides).
• Experience with government contracting and understanding of related quality assurance requirements.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and principles, with experience in process-oriented environments.
• Familiarity with Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience in testing-driven development and quality assurance best practices.
• Strong understanding of security and privacy regulations relevant to healthcare IT (e.g., HIPAA).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
